Sport/TCG Cards Cleaning

It is considered best practice to clean your card before submitting it to a grader.  Card grading companies (PSA, SGC, BGS..etc) will not clean your card when they receive it.  They will grade the card as-is.  So, if there are any imperfection, no matter how minor, it will form part of your overall grade.  Cleaning your card will put your card in the best position to achieve the HIGHEST possible grade.

Grading is the process of evaluating the condition of a trading card and assigning it a grade to represent its authenticity and condition.

Sports card grading involves thoroughly examining the card’s corners, edges, surface, and centering.

The card is then assigned a numerical or alphabetical grade on a scale. The HIGHER the grades, more VALUE the card is.
